As I knelt and began to pray, the Word of the Lord came upon me, and I fell into a deep trance.

As I knelt and prayed the Lord showed me the whole of the earth, and the earth was in darkness, and the surface of the earth was covered in a red scum, and the scum covering the earth was the wickedness and evil nature of man in the fallen world. The wickedness and sin was great upon the earth, and the entire earth was covered in this scum.

As I looked at the earth in this fallen, atrocious state, I observed, felt, and understood how the Lord views the world, and all the wickedness and evil that exists and has always existed since the fall. I felt and understood the disgusting nature of man in his fallen state, and how the entire earth has been corrupted since the fall. All of this was very distressing to me, and I felt a deep sense of sorrow and regret for the state of the world, and how things could (and should) have been.

"The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled."  Genesis 6:5-6

As I observed the world in this state, and understood the ramifications of the fall, and how much wickedness, evil, and sorrow the world had experienced, I asked the Lord if the fall was necessary – that is, was it His plan from the beginning. To this question the Lord answered both “Yes” and “No”, and the words yes and no were spoken simultaneously. The answer was repeated many times, with both “Yes” and “No” spoken by the Lord simultaneously many times.

After this the Lord showed me the world in it’s “natural” state, that is, for the most part how the world appears today when viewed from outer space, but not quite exactly the same. I understood this to be the world as it is supposed to be, and this vision was the earth in the new restored state as promised in scripture. The scum that covered the earth was gone, and a bright light was over the earth, providing light to the earth but this light was not the sun. The light was bright white and had the appearance of a star, whereas the sun would have appeared as a yellow sphere. I understood this to be the hope we have in Jesus, for the restoration of the world, setting the ways of the world to how they should have always been from the beginning.

Next the Lord showed me a shape that was a like an elongated sphere with concentric rings extended out from the center of the sphere. The shape was suspended in darkness and was the only thing visible. The shape was divided in two with the left side being a blueish color and the right side a pinkish color. The shape was vertical such that I looked upon the rings directly and I could see that where the two colors met, the division was preciously in half with the left half being the blueish color with concentric rings, and the right side being pinkish in color with concentric rings. The two sides looked the same, other than the color.

As I looked at this shape I became aware that the blueish left side was the Law, and the pinkish right side was Grace. In the middle the two colors came together perfectly, melding together but at the same time, completely separate from each other, and the division was perfectly split in half.

As I continued to observe the shape I began to understand that both the Law and Grace exist together simultaneously, such that both are true at the same time. However after a time the pinkish side consumed the blueish side, and I remembered Jesus saying:

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."  Mathew 5:17

As the pink side consumed the blue side, I understood that Grace triumphs over Law, and I remembered God’s new covenant with man.

After all of this the Lord showed me and taught me additional things which I have chosen not to write about at this time. Then I worshiped the Lord while still in the Spirit and after this time of worship, I was released from the trance.
